Crack & Joint Sealing

Joint Adhesive
Joint adhesive is a hot-applied, rubberized asphalt sealant specifically engineered to protect longitudinal joints during the paving process—the seams created between adjacent lanes of asphalt.
Because these joints are typically less compacted than the rest of the lane, they are highly prone to air and water infiltration. Applying a joint adhesive creates a dense, impermeable, and flexible barrier that bonds the cold pavement edge of an existing lane to the hot asphalt of the newly poured lane. This significantly reduces water intrusion, prevents premature cracking and raveling, and extends the overall service life of the roadway.
